Rikke Bjerregaard Orry is a civil engineer, sustainable building designer and passionate climate warrior. While pursuing a Master in Business Development at the Copenhagen Business School, Rikke holds the position as Global Sustainability Director in Ramboll Buildings, one of the top-3 design & consultancy firms in Europe, and leads 4.700 building designers on the sustainability agenda.

With a background in indoor climate and energy optimisation of buildings, Rikke has worked with multiple certification schemes such as DGNB, BREEAM and LEED and led multidisciplinary design teams on complex building projects with high ambitions on the sustainability agenda. She has been involved in several knowledge development initiatives in the Danish construction industry and is currently driving internal development processes in Ramboll, such as Ramboll’s benchmarking database for carbon footprint of buildings, and a Sustainability Dialogue Tool which supports the early design stage dialogue in relation to the built environment.
